I know this is normal, but I have seen a lot about Moms talking about their LO’s favorite toys, and how they have “play time”, etc. Well, I kinda … Is this just her age (phase/stage) or her personality? … Mine noticed this with my 6 month old and referred her to occupational therapist – not started yet though.
She doesn’t show much interest in them at all, preferring to play with everyday household objects. I worry … If I give my 8 month old baby a pot and a wooden spoon, he will not even look at his other toys all day long. … As a mum I try to get all the age suitable and right kind of toys for my eight month old son.

Baby is still new. Give him a break. His brain is still forming neurological connections.
My son is 14 months old and I have been trying to teach him how to stack blocks, use a shape sorter and a ring stacker and be doesn’t get it. … He would much rather play the drums on his toys or see how long it takes him to break something.
